Sunday Laminating

Do you spend all day Sunday planning your lessons? So do I! This week, I am NOT celebrating the Dr. who would have a stroke if he knew what his company was telling teachers! We are beginning to talk about the month of March!

I am linking up with my friend Deedee Wills with my plans for the week. The biggest part of my day is during Literacy Centers. Here they are:
Feb 22
I am using Deedee’s Overhead Stations that can be found here. My kids LOVE these!

My two ELA and my two Math tubs are from my In like a Lion unit. They can be found here!

Have you shown your kids Monkey Math? My kids love it! For Sure an app to download if you have iPads in your room.

In my writing station we are writing facts from our Lion/Lamb charts. Turning them into books.

Write the room, we are looking for words that have the sh/th/ch/wh digraphs and words with l blends.

And our library, with the infamous bathtub, the kids are reading AR books to take tests on, and Spring books.

These are my tub centers for this week.
Slide3
This center the students draw a card, and identify the ending sound. Then record on response sheet.

Slide1
This center the students will draw a card, and stamp the sight word on the response sheet.

Slide2
The students draw a card, count on to make ten and then write the number on the response sheet.

Slide4
And the last center. the students draw a card, identify the number, and fill in the numbers on the ten frame.

All these centers can be found here:

I hope this post helped some one out Smile Have a fabulous Monday tomorrow, and hope we don’t get the blizzard they are predicting!

  2. Exactly, WHO is this DR. everyone is refering to? So sad that we can't all just get along and enjoy his work, yet add our own materials.

The lion/lamb unit is so cute, I will have to head over and check it out. Thanks for sharing.
