Busy Bee!

I woke up early on Tuesday and finished my room. Ta Da! Here it is! I have completely packed up my room. It looks so tiny!

Who said that teachers get the summer off? I have been working my little tushie off! I don’t know what got into me, but I have been bitten by the pinterest bug!

I found this cute little thing online. I grabbed those picture frames I got from my wedding (Thanks Mom!) and the letters that were on our card table. Maybe one day I will put our actual wedding pictures in there!

I found this online and thought of how I could adapt it! I am going to sort the files by skills. When a student needs an intervention, who ever is helping will grab a file and go work on that skill. Each file folder will have a log.

Tomorrow is Monday?!

What a weird feeling. Tomorrow is Monday, I am not rushing around to finish lesson plans. I am not stressing about  activities. I can stay up super late and sleep in late too!

That is because…I am out of school

Friday was my first day of freedom out of school. Guess where I was… On the beach Packing up my classroom…at 9:30 am. I was awake at 6:45. Who does that?! Apparently I do.

Well I am going to go blogstalk/find some books to read this summer. I will leave you with pictures of what my classroom looks like.(And by classroom I mean my hallway where my classroom is currently located)

I have stocked up my shopping cart and am going to be reading by the pool….starting tomorrow

Zzzzzzz….

Welp we did it! We are done. We had a super busy day to day, and I am dead tired. We have a workday tomorrow, so I need to catch some Zzzzzs so I can finish packing up my room. I will try to take some pictures to share with ya’ll.

Tomorrow’s the Day

Welp I haven’t had much to blog about.

Tomorrow is our Beach Day. We have a ton of inflatables that come in, we pop popcorn, make snocones, cotton candy (PTL I missed out on that job this year!) and a fountain pop machine! Then I will give my babies one more hug and I will not see them until August.

Also in my spare time (what is that?!) I whipped up about 9 little sight word games. They go right along with Reading Street’s Sight Word list.

I found some AWESOME new sellers. I can’t wait to warm up my printer and laminator! I decided on an OWL theme next year, and am super anxious to start my room.

We only have 3….yes that says 3 days left of school. Then my room has to be packed up and ready to go. I have to pack up EVERYTHING because I am getting new carpet. I am soo excited, (but not looking forward to the packing). But on the other hand, I have now been teaching for two years, and there is a lot of junk things that I haven’t used so I am going to trash and reorganize my room. So I will be looking for new organization ideas.
