March Madness

Hi Friends! If you know me, you know that I love all things Oklahoma State. And that includes Basketball. It is that time of the year, Big XII Championship and The Big Dance! So in celebration of Basketball being on TV 24/7 My friends over at Kinderland and I are having a March Madness Sale!

In conjunction with the sale we had a little Mini Swap! I got pared up with the always fabulous Nancy Messenger. Have you been to her store? I love me some Oodles of Doodles!

 

She not only is a fab teacher, but a super talented clip art designer, and can bang out an amazing blog design!

I got to review her March Homework packet. I use the term “got to” loosely since I have been using her homework packs since September.

There is a monthly schedule page. I keep this in the front of their binder. When they do their homework at night, the color or cross off the picture for the week.

Then they have a weekly homework page. With directions of what to do each night.  When they do the homework they mark off on the page. I also use the bottom of the page to keep up with their weekly reading. They color in a coin when they read for 15 minutes.

This is what a homework sheet looks like. There are super clear instructions, and it is in a spiraled order, so it can align to anyone’s curriculum. It also has one small assignment a night.
